There's nothing more frustrating than measuring and "guessing" when cuting odd shapes, whether it's tile, wood planking, or flooring, and then having to recut. This tool eliminates the guesswork. It's great.

This is very easy to use and extremely handy around the house. It is nice and sturdy and a plus is the four magnets on the back which allows for easy storage in the workshop. Great product.

As a contractor who has been in the industry for over 20 years, I wonder how I have lived without this until now! I used to make templates with flooring paper, but why waste that time? The pins on this are snug enough that sometimes you have to not only push it into place, but potentially push from behind to ensure that all the pins are where they need to be, but if it were loose, it wouldn't hold your measurements. You can pick it up at any angle after setting it, and it won't lose your templat...

Great for art directors & set designers on location! I love this contour gage to survey a location and get accurate profiles of the mouldings that we will need to match. Highly recommended.

I got this to help with corners and door jambs for a flooring project. This works great to get the angles and edges right. It has a sharp edge that you put on the ground so you can trace easily on the wood you are cutting. This was perfect for my project!

I purchased another one similar to this but smaller and found this one to be much easier to use. The parts move easily to provide for accurate contouring a round what ever you're using a for.
